Back on my feet today, so out we went, and I was immediately reminded of why I love Britain. . .

1. Everything here is old.

2. People are more patient. Drivers, pedestrians, the cute woman who let us tour a church where one limb from William Wallace’s body is buried.

3. The accents, well, they are just endearing.

4. Everyone wears black, which makes wardrobe choices much more simple.

5. The weather is made for me – cool, a little damp, and full of amazing wind.

Tomorrow, if all goes well, M and I are off to the Highlands where I will mortify her by jumping a fence to pet a Highland cow. . . and where most certainly Nessie will be spotted. . .
