It was 45 degrees when I woke up this morning.  The sky is the blue of bluebird eggs without a cloud in sight.

The toolshed begun.

The toolshed begun.

Perfect, in other words.

It’s been a while since I wrote here. I’ve been working to edit a lot of books for clients, and The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is just two weeks away.  So it’s not just here that I’ve been missing my time – it’s on the farm itself.

Today, though, P and I are going to rectify that.  We have a garden fence to finish and some clean up to do.  We’re going to try to mow the trail to the top of the mountain, and maybe we’ll even hit a lick on clearing some more brush from the pasture hill.

Dad is in progress on the chicken coop, and we now have a tool shed starteIMG_20130523_184444_646d in the garden.

Life is building here, slowly.  I hope you’ll come join us in it.  We even have great rainbows that frame the pasture with color.

Plus, the kale is coming in hard and fast, so visit, have a meal, clear some brush, enjoy the lush greenness of this place.  It waits for you.

Just email andilit@gmail.com to let us know when you’re stopping by.
