Today, we had the privilege of spending time with Luke Ramsey of Ramsey Restoration. He came to talk with us about our plans for the barn that will both be our place for keeping animals and also the space where we will hold concerts and readings.
At Christmas next year, our barn may look much like this.
We’re hopeful that we’ll get to work with Luke in the future as he has great experience in barn building and shares our hopes to build the barn out of as much reclaimed material as possible.
At present, Philip and I are working through how we will finance this next step in the dream. Soon, we’ll be launching a Kickstarter campaign to help pay for this gorgeous two-story, post and beam bank barn. We’ll have lots of great incentives – including ways our donors will be celebrated in the barn itself and tickets to upcoming concerts and shows.
We are eager to begin this next step of our dream, and we’re even more eager to share this part of our dream with you.
